LGBT students were pelted with food, called anti-gay slurs and required to read the Bible as punishment in one Oregon high school. And school officials did not stop it, a report says.https://nyti.ms/2L8LgMa

This is disgusting. On the other hand Mike Pence is pleased with the Oregon school officials. Which makes the whole ordeal much more disturbing. Shame on that district!

That’s not surprising. Pence is a racist who claims to be a Christian but his God is Trump

It’s hard to have separation of church and state when nearly all elected officials are religious freaks.

But it's alright for them to teach small children all about LGBT without parental permission, the double standard continues

Kids turn out LGBT themselves without parental permission, and then because their parents don't have enough love to accept that some people are different a bunch end up killing themselves. I hope whatever is making you so nasty passes and you become a better person

The biggest problem with the world today is that there are too many religious nutcases.

She is one of the reasons I stayed Christian after leaving Catholicism. She was my rock through high school and college...but this was pre social media days, and I list track of her. Still hear her in my head though

Wow, how beautiful that she made such a positive impact on your life. And now you are sharing her wisdom with the world! That’s a wonderful legacy she left you and a testament to her affect on you and how you live your life. There’s nothing more gratifying in our lives than that.

She did. I hate that I never knew her last name. She was a social justice warrior before there was a word for it. Arrested protesting Vietnam War, worked to get women & minorities registered to vote. Taught me to always fight for what was right
