how is taking 500 million from students, taxpayers, faculty and employees and giving it to victims “justice” by any definition of the word?

It helps the victims, even though Larry Nassar should be paying the most of it.

Nasser should be paying all of it, along with any staff who could have - but didn’t- intervene. Entirely wrong for students, faculty and taxpayers to have to suffer. If i get robbed, i don’t expect taxpayers to compensate me.

Sounds like a plan. Maybe they should have prevented it or stopped it sooner by listening to the young women who were complaining.

Presidents of universities do fundraising with private donors. It's not just taxpayers.
