I don't want to hate, but--this is just the normal negroni recipe, 1/3 gin, 1/3, Campari, 1/3 sweet vermouth. There's nothing 'Jim Meehan' about it.

Well... this is not entirely accurate. An even more "classic" way to open a meal is sparkling, and delightful "Prosecco".. with olives and seasoned cheese and maybe a thin slice of "prosciutto crudo".

I like to substitute lemon for orange, and Aperòl for Campari. I also add a couple splashes of club soda. It’s a Negroni Americano, and it is phenomenal.
