The crucial question is whether Puerto Rico’s power grid can withstand even a minor storm. The answer is probably not.https://nyti.ms/2KXhLwx

So your struggles is more valid than other people’s struggles? How about provide to you, and others in the same unfortunate situation? Or is that too much empathy for you?

Your grammar is horrible. Nobody should depend on the federal government to provide their basic needs; that's not the purpose of government. That does not mean I don't sympathize; I'm just not in the habit of pointing fingers.

Well that was for a completely different thing. She was talking about the initial response to the crisis and as someone that lived through it, I agree with her 100%. Here we're talking about how the infrastructure might not take another hurricane.

We did that too, of course. You’d be surprised at the shockingly bad response and that was not covered much in the media. They were too focused on other things including that one mayor that you mentioned.

In this country, being a US citizen in a US territory doesn’t mean much. If you don’t live in a state, you’re a second class citizen. We don’t even get to vote and make sure that guy is not in power again. Oh well.

Before the U.S. writes any large checks, Puerto Rico’s books should be audited. If the numbers are legitimate, they need help managing their funds. If not, some people need to go to jail.
