Why does the opening of a government building need a prayer at all?

Halfway through this #Evangelical hypocrite's nauseating diatribe, I became genuinely embarrassed for my country. This man doesn't speak for the #Gospel morality that I recognize... except the #Pharisees.

The latest quote revealed of Robert Jeffress, the "pastor" who Misty President chose for the blessing at the opening of the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem, is that Judaism is leading its followers to hell. The only way this could have been worse is if Misty dressed him up as Hitler.

Frankly, even though most don't say it, I believe that a majority of pastors and priests believe that Jews will go to hell for not accepting Jesus as savior. That doesn't mean he may not be repugnant on other grounds and that, maybe, a rabbi should have said the blessing.

Perfect choice, this pastor who has also made hateful anti-Mormon and anti-Muslim remarks, for the upside down, inside out alternate reality of a Trump administration that foments racism at every turn
