Cutting and breaking through a boarder fence into another country is not a protest in many people's minds. They were not marching with a white flag waving that is for certain.

Scott, please finish your thought. Are you suggesting that the rightful penalty for those actions is death by fire?
-
My thoughts are from what I have read in past engagements I would not cut and dismantle Israeli fences and enter their country due to past knowledge what could happen.
-
I find it very telling that 3000 Palestinians have been injured, 50+ dead, yet not one SINGLE Israeli soldier injured. Crossing a border is not a threat to their life and Israel is massacring them
-
There is a Jewish village less than 5000 feet away from this fence. The Palestinians have admitted on camera that they will kill the Jews in that Village. I thank the soldiers for protecting that Village

FIXED IT:
#Israeli soldiers gunned down over 2000 Palestinian civilians today, killing more than 50 (so far), to keep them from entering their ancestral homeland. . -

You are literally the opposite of correct. Palestinians are Arabs, who colonized the region during the 1st/2nd Caliphate while the Jews have a tiny little "reservation" called Israel. It's like looking at the US and calling a reservation an occupier P.S. I'm half native Americanpic.twitter.com/uZGwu9y29P

I think its more about Israel being in violation of a UN treaty, for starters, but 1. how far back in history are we going to go? and 2. Israel was carved out by the imperial powers, so there’s some underlying animosity in that regard.
-
I'm sorry, but the Jews are indigenous no matter how long they were occupied by the Arabs, then Ottomans, then British. I support a 2-state solution, but this doesn't change these facts. Also, Jordan was carved out by colonial powers by the same act. Where is the animosity?
-
You missed my point. Jordan is a monarchy ruled by exiled Saudi Hashemites that was created in 46 by England on land that, if you were consistent, you would say was stolen from the Palestinians. Despite this, Jordan isn't reviled by the Palestinians because they aren't Jewish.

If someone can explain the difference in what you see happening in Gaza today compared to what Assad has been doing...I'm all ears...
-
Sum al the tragic deaths in the israeli-palestinian conflict in 2018, and if it gets to 3,812 that were killed in syria (many of them from chemical weapons), than you migt have a point. I doubt if you'll cross the 100 line, though.
-
I don't equate numbers of deaths...you're barking up the wrong tree with that line my friend...
-
Than what is your basis of comparison if not the reletive violence of the conflicts? What makes you think its in any way the same?
-
He slaughters those who protest...I'm not seeing much difference here...but hey...maybe I missed something because I've served in more combat AORs than most and I never saw us shooting people that are throwing rocks and bottles...pick up a weapon or a fire bomb, different story
-
Maybe... Just maybe... There are more than stones.
-
How many Israelis were killed or injured? If, of course, they were more than rocks...
-
In this conflict? Non so far. Guess why.
