Lots of new people, especially from California, are transforming Boise, Idaho, just in time for a primary election for governor. An economic boom, filled with elation and anxiety, could shape the outcome.https://nyti.ms/2KYyQ9j

Keep the Californians out! Don’t let them ruin Boise like they did Portland and Seattle!! They move there because it’s great but bring their horrible policies with them. They don’t learn !!!!

If there is a Democratic surge, then Idaho will turn into the kind of place that caused all these people to move in the first place.

Amazing how it keeps happening though. People who are otherwise intelligent voting for the same policies that forced them to leave the place they came from.

God help Idaho. Sorry to say but the last thing you want in your system are folks from CA. The turned CA into a cesspool and now they will move to Idaho and do the same, as the have Oregon and Washington. I know, I live in CA and I wouldn't wish it on any state.

Boise is a Mormon strongehold. I’ll bet these Californians are mostly from Sacramento — another Mormon stronghold. They’re likely trying to solidify the LDS church’s control over the region. This is what tribalism looks like.
