The definition of "friend" is loosening, to the point where it doesn't really mean much. So, you may have many "friends," but none of those people really know you in a meaningful way.

Define “friends.” People mutually following each other on social media but never seeing each other or talking in person isn’t a friendship.

How can you call somebody a "friend" that you met off of social media when you've probably never met them or interacted with them in real life? Sounds like technology replacing human interaction once again.
