We asked college students what sexual consent means for them. Here's what they told us.https://nyti.ms/2KRH03o

It's clear that so many women feel that once they've started down a road, they have to keep going for fear of being impolite or of upsetting some unwritten code. Women need to really believe they have the right at any time to say no, to change their minds. We haven't taught this

I read most of these and felt like I was reading about rape. You read them and felt you were reading about love?

Winning over someone's heart, gaining their trust and consent to their affection is rape? Guy: "Will you got out with me" Girl: "No" Guy: *brings her flowers* "just one date to change your mind?" *Girl takes out restraining order* End Credits

It's a fine line. Some women actually want to be chased. And others will make it clear when they aren't interested at all. Smart men know the difference.

Consent is the wrong word bc consent is a CRIMINAL term. On campus, sex-based harm is a CIVIL RIGHTS issue bc it is a form of sex discrimination, & is defined as that which is "unwelcome & based on sex." Unwelcome is much easier to prove than nonconsent. #MeToo

Being drunk is no defense for committing crimes, and no defense for a man raping a woman. So how come a woman suddenly can't give consent while drunk? Stop infantilizing women, they can make their own decitions and mistakes and they should be treated just as if a man made them.

Na this is a slippery slope.. I had women tell me they were interested but didn't believe I was because I didn't "try hard enough". Also generally men aren't just out here raping women. A rapist is going to rape someone.. that's what they do.

All this shit starts in Grade 12! Some men & women really don't know what they want in a relationship! Don't get me wrong, If I say no its no if she says no its no!
