1 This from a police officer friend, “I’m out in the field today doing background investigations. I just visited a larger Southern California Law Enforcement Agency to interview some references and learned the following from a detective; . . .

2- A black officer was the subject of a recent 911 call while he was assigned to patrol an affluent, predominantly white neighborhood. The caller reported a black man driving a police car and wanted to know if any patrol units had been reported stolen. . . .

3- In another incident this same officer was once dispatched to a report call at a house and the resident refused to open the door for him. She then called 911 again to report a black man dressed as a police officer at her door. The Age of Trump.

Maybe black folks should start phoning the police on white folks! After all they could be white nationalist or Nazis casing out the joint planning a terrorist attack!

not the fault of police, they are responding to phone calls. USA is heading towards civil war, as a canadian looking in, its a mess down there.

if police had the right to pick and choose which calls to take, it'd be an even worse situation. They can choose how to handle it once they are there, but they have to be there first and foremost. The civilians calling are the root of the problem, using police as their henchmen

Why aren't people being charged with misuse of police resources. There is real crime to be solved.

The issue is huge, everyone turns a blind eye to it. I’ve been stopped by cops for no reason at all. I was pulled over by an officer once and his excuse was that my car was reported stolen, the very car I was driving that was registered and insured in my name. Nobody cares. #sad
