If you live near the Canadian border you can pick some up. Plus they are only about 90 bucks rather then 600.

tutorials online about how to make a similar device for under $2. this "scarcity" is fake and inhumane.

I am by no means suggesting that people DO this, because I certainly wouldn't want to be expected to trust my life to a homemade medical device. They're cheap to produce, they just figure people will pay more for their LIVES. Which is medical blackmail. #MedievalMedicineInAmerica

The article does not explain why the non EpiPen brands are not covered by insurance. I'm willing to bet it has to do with government over regulation. EpiPen has been in the news previously for climbing prices. True monopolies can only exist with government support.

Any time someone who works in a medical center says "it's kinda scary," you should probably take what you can from the place

Sadly they are a needed product. As trying to dose out the proper amount of epinephrine while undergoing anaphalactic shock is not an easy thing. It's crazy how it's literally only about 3$ worth of medicine but they want to charge 197$ for a 5$ delivery system

THEY ARE ABSOLUTLY NEEDED! They saved a few of my family and friends lives! But in order to get their next seven dollar life-saving device, now they have to pay ONEHUNDRED and NINETY-SEVEN DOLLARS?!?!? Thanks Trump 😐

Last time I filled a prescription for one, maybe two years ago, it was over $400. Luckily my insurance copay was only $36.
