Summer's coming, but the plastic straw may be going, as NYC restaurants and cafes stop offering themhttps://nyti.ms/2KTQyuU

I like straws. Maybe it’s all in my head but I think it makes drinks just taste better.

I like straws too. So I got a sterling steel one that I can reuse. When I forget it, I try to use paper straws. Same effect, less guilt.

How do you clean reusable straws? With a pipe cleaner or do you just run it under the faucet?

Very pertinent article as @BluestoneLane is committed to removing plastic straws. We begin trialing both paper and plant fiber straws next week in Los Angeles, looking to then rapidly roll-out across all our locations. We must be part of the solution, not problem.

This makes me so happy. Especially after just being on vacay in Maui and they have completely done away with plastic straws.

Thanks to President Trump's generous tax cuts, I carry a monogrammed porcelain straw in a designer case whenever I am out on the town.
