Oh boy. No does mean no. You could try to convince your partner without being a creep about it tho. You have to know your partner. Its a tricky line that doesn't have a clear definition besides the obvious.

Or the line is not tricky at all? 🤨 There's a pretty clear difference between "convincing" and "foreplay." If they don't consent to foreplay, you stop. "But what if—" No, stop. This is not a trick. You just don't want to do it. See: enthusiastic consent.

No one can force anyone to do anything with words unless their is malice behind the words. Their is a difference. It's not black and white for everyone. I can speak from experiences on both sides of the coin.

Consent IS black and white. Watch: P1: *makes move* P2: meh P1: does that 'meh' mean "sure, why not?" or a "nah, not now?" P2: uhh, good question; I guess 'sure, why not.' P1: well then, let me turn that 'meh' into a 'yeh!' OR P2: not now. P1: cool. just the netflix then.

In that scenario it is black and white. Not all conversations are like that tho. Not every person is the same. I can't debate you on behalf of all men or women in regards to how they talk or interpret things. Their can be a bit of nuance. That's the line.

The US has a very particular culture of college sex. By far the western country with highest rape cases in college. I’m still very ashamed of how my alma mater @Columbia treated the raped case that fellow @esulk denounced carrying a mattress year round.
