"One of the most despicable tricks of the patriarchy is to peddle the myth that men can’t do more around the house because they weren’t raised doing so."https://nyti.ms/2G5Nlo6

If two people are making a mess in the house, using plates, using the toilet, sleeping in sheets, walking indoor with shoes on, wearing clothes, and so on, two people are cleaning up, doing dishes, doing laundry etc. End of discussion.

Their is no #Patriarchy, only centuries old unconscious ingrained beliefs that both sexes have! And yes, it is a myth! Including me, I know a lot of #men you cook & clean🍳 No wonder the #MSM falling off!!!!🗞📰

Why do you we keep rehashing these tired old narratives? Most men I know work and do chores. Most women I know work and do chores. The world has changed. Time to start writing about how both sexes have adapted to new roles.

I want to click, because name-checking THE PATRIARCHY right out of the gate is a sign we're headed to crazytown, but... It's probably better not to feed the beast.

Lol, evidently y'all still living in the 20th century. I'm a single dad who does all that and raises a 13-year-old boy on my own. The person who said this is out of touch with reality and that's despicable.

Oh brother- my 50 year old husband is a tremendous asset. How about not generalizing? I guess since they’re men they’re fair game. Your anecdotal evidence is weak as is your premise. Your readership is shrinking and it’s no wonder why. #EgalitarianFeminist #StopTheHate

Nonsense! I am a man about the house and do all the chores that need to be done on a par for the course and without a handicap. Do treat your wife as a fairytale princess and hold out an olive branch whenever you have a fallout!
