I'm no fan of Rkelly but I am a fan of free speech... do I now have to read Spotify's values rather than make my own decisions?? #csnsorship

Spotify made their decision. You can find his music elsewhere, if you want to. That IS free expression- they have the same freedom you do.

Yea, his music is still there. They just won't promote it. There's still a such thing as contracts and agreements with record labels.

If him beating the crap out of Rhianna isn't reason enough, now there's this: http://www.bbc.com/news/newsbeat-44065067 … So yeah, Chris Brown needs to be next.

Yes, I remember. That was an assault and he paid dearly and somewhat still paying for that; but, you cannot in good conscience bring that up in this conversation! Let's be REAL and not BIASED! Just saying! ✌

"Paid dearly"? Please explain how. He still tours, releases music &makes tons of $, so far as I can tell he paid very little if at all. If bringing up his character, proven past behavior& (alleged)current behavior is being "BIASED" then 🤷🏼‍♀️Im biased against violent assholes

Unfortunately, am not here to argue about the semantics of the word I used; nor was I excusing what Chris Brown in anyway. What he did was terrible; and he realized and apologized for it. But, you cannot in good conscience put what he did in the same conversation. My piece.

Huh? You literally asked someone to explain why Chris Brown should also be removed like KRelly. https://twitter.com/aiscream4u/status/994600408482955264?s=21 … So that's what I did. If you're arguing semantics with anyone it should probably be with yourself. My piece.

Well, if that's your conclusions, pile up that list; cause am sure it's gonna be a huge list...with lots and lots of artists, actors, Presidents, school professors, etc both men and women. Abuse of any kind or sort is EVIL; but we must never be HYPOCRITICAL when swinging a sword

i'm not advocating for r. kelly but if we’re being serious & sincere... a whole lotta folk's faves are gonna have their shit pulled. so, where does it end? jerry lewis? elvis presley? james brown? jimmy page? bill withers? marvin gaye? miles davis? john lennon? rick james?

My understanding is this is due to their “conduct” not the content of the music. Not a free speech/censorship issue y’all, just regular ass consequences 🤷🏻‍♂️
