All of you responding take note that when these cops are charged the citizens don't find them guilty. That is one if rhe biggest reasons why this keep happening. We the citizens on jury duty need to start finding these guys guilty. Until WE the people say no this will continue.

A jury of all white peers exonerate law enforcement for anything. They don't have the same interactions with cops like PoC do, so they love and worship them. Plus, grand juries are sometimes rigged by the DA who has no real intention of prosecuting.

There has been juries that had POC on them that voted not guilty. SC is the only state that I have found that has sent cops to jail for shooting unarmed POC. It was the jury that made that decision. It can be done if the citizens do their duty and take a stand.

True. I think that circles back to the DA being corrupt and not really making a case for indictment. Remember the cop who murdered Michael Brown? The DA basically put on a defense for the cop ensuring he wouldn't get indicted. The system is completely fixed in favor of cops.

Thats true in that case. But remember rhe case in OK where we had video of the victim complying and not threatening and the cop still walked. That was a travesty

Good start. Now how do we ensure that he doesn't get hired as a cop two towns over? Hopefully more PDs follow suit and cut loose the criminals, sadists, and psychos in their ranks.

That's a start. How about all the "good cops" and their "not all cops" defenders speak up about these incidents and publicly condemn them more? They should be the loudest voices for police accountability.

🇮🇪One of the most disgraceful acts of cowardice I’ve seen in a long time. The fella was already in cuffs, not posing any threat whatsoever. If you can’t trust trained police officers to do their job with honor, society fails as a result. Doesn’t matter what color,he’s human☹️

Why is it "appeared" when it's clearly shown on video? Open and shut case!

“Appeared” literally means “clearly shown” or “came into sight” lol

No "appeared" is just copspeak. The headline should omit the word, he clearly kicked him in the head. There's no disputing it.

Definitely kicked him in the head. It’s indisputable. The word is meant to translate shock value because it’s 100% visible in the video how reprehensible his actions were towards another living, breathing person. We agree on that, doesn’t mean we should argue semantics instead.

It's a start. We need to see more cops who abuse their power and use unnecessary force held accountable for their actions and fired. There are still cops out there who have done similar or worse things who have not faced justice. Hopefully this is will get the ball rolling.
