In new video, the officer and the suspect acknowledge that the kick did not actually land. Still, the officer was charged with a misdemeanor and will be fired.https://nyti.ms/2KP5M3Y

#PoliceBrutality is not funny. This may have been a joke, horseplay, but real people are beat and killed by overzealous officers. This display reinforces inhumane and superior thinking.

If I shoot a gun at someone, it's still ATTEMPTED MURDER. A police officer using trained attack techniques in a way that can KILL SOMEONE is the same.

No room for horseplay. His mockery wasn't funny whether it "landed" or not.

Pathetic. Here's how ONE Toronto police took down a terror suspect who just plowed through about 25 people (killing 10) with a van and who was also threatening the officer, pretending to have a gun, without firing a shot.https://youtu.be/g75uwOx5PmI

THAT is how real policemen behave; calmly, & with courage & dignity. Not like some "wild west" gunslingers!

No one is perfect. Demonizing police for every little misstep demoralizes the extreme majority of officers who just want to keep people safe. Demoralized Police Force => Higher Crime Rates. This has been proven many times over.
