i had this same issue when i was younger. i was passing out and my heart was stopping up to 15 times a week. dr. arnold gold from columbia university hospital in nyc ultimately diagnosed me. i eventually grew out of it but was told it could come back later in life.

I've had same condition since 1960. Stoppages less than two seconds, happens at least once a day. Open heart surgery in 1961, at 9 months, at Mayo Clinic, Rochester Minnesota. Cardiologist says not a serious concern for me personally, FYI.

this should be interesting. Members of my extended family going back multiple generations but not affecting my direct line: males die of "sudden heart death". I'm told that they have never had a heart attack. Have no symptoms and then go to sleep and don't wake up. no damage

One of my students had this same condition (or it sounds like it), brought on after a head injury. They would collapse in class without warning.
