I feel sorry for the Puerto Rico people. So there is no other nation out there to help them get back on their feet? If it is even to lend them the money and they payback at a later date. IMF for example.
They are an American territory. The federal government is as responsible for their well being as it is for states like Texas and California. People from Puerto Rico are American citizens.
Trump is responsible for the suffering of these people. At first it was a power trip for him, but when the mayor of Puerto Rico called him out on it, begging for help, trump exacted vengeance for her embarrassing him. All at the cost of human life and untold suffering.
