States that are having trouble with lethal injection are looking for other ways to carry out the death penalty. High on some states' list: nitrogen gas.https://nyti.ms/2KJbGnB

Or just stop killing people? I’m not religious, but as I recall, death was the original punishment for the original sin, and it doesn’t seem to have prevented much in all that time.

notice the states pushing this are bastions of GOP ignorance and lack of opportunity. "educate our children properly? no funds for that, socialist! we're busy trying to find new ways to kill these troublesome brown folks on death row"

Stop killing. Period. Not a deterrent to crime, at least twice as expensive as life in prison. Fiscally and morally irresponsible.

It seems to me as someone opposed to capitol punishment from a place where its not practice. That if you're going to have it you should own it as it were and not try and make it look pretty. Especially if your grounding your argument in deterrence.

So . . . they think suffocation is better? How about commuting the death sentences to life without parole? It cost the same and the States will no longer be committing homocide.

If we can kill innocent animals with bows and arrows and guns, how hard is it to kill criminals that kill people?

What’s wrong with firing squad or hanging? They’re effective and if someone chooses such a means of execution who is to deny them their choice of how they want to die?

So now having choices is ok? God forbid we give women the choice to do what she sees fit with her own body.
