Thank you for your ethical service to our country Senator McCain. Under your leadership we could easily teach our children messages of integrity and a willingness to broaden our perspectives and think beyond one party for the better good. Thank you is hardly enough.

So are we. I honor him for his service to our country under torture, solitary confinement for 2 years. I'm sure this is very hard on his family. But we are witnessing stages of grief. Putting things in order.

Don’t wish him anything bad, but McCain will go down as one of the worst neocon/globalist of our time, which never served the interest of the american people.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate John McCain and I have respect for what he suffered as a soldier. However, his record in congress in strictly party over country. Every single time, with the exception of once on the healthcare bill. He obviously doesn't care for the middle class

So, get you affairs in order sir, and by all means speak your regrets. I do think you could have spoken out for the people of this country long before now because the truth is, if you were running for another term, you would still be voting party.
