Yes! Our Foundation's sight programs range from providing sight-restoring surgeries and treatments to distributing medications to those most at-risk for eye diseases. Lions also collect eyeglasses in their communities to distribute to people in need around the world. #WeServe

Everyone should be able to see the world clearly. As a child of a parent with Retinitis Pigmentosa the glasses my father had until his sight totally went aged 35 helped him to enjoy his last views of our world. 20/20 Sight is a fundimental privelidge we all take 4 granted.

Right here in the good old USA eyesight and dental coverage are some of the worst as far as affordability is concerned! I guess only those NOT working or filthy rich need to see and chew properly? 😩pic.twitter.com/3uQwR2zrLU

Specsavers here & other independent opticians have a drop in. Leave in your old glasses to donate, likewise for phones Jack & Jill for children's charity. All charities shd unite & centralise & brainstorm. Like UN but better. Can't bear corruption in any form esp. in charities 💖

I believe only the frame of donated glasses is used, which is sensible. & frames have to be in working order of course. I will be taking some in; not sure it’s a major part of solution.

Thk u. Agree. It's a start anyway. Have to do sthg. Could all be sorted in the morning for 3rd world if it weren't for greed and our collective addiction to materialism. Guilty as charged - occasionally. We all need a serious reality check sometimes.
