After 30 years in Pakistan, a refugee family was forced back to Afghanistan, a country still at war. Six-year-old Bilal struggled in his new home, with only his parrot to keep him company.https://nyti.ms/2rtlQQq

These people are refugees because of idiotic political leadership of America. They are fighting a war which they cannot win.

A helpless victim of human greed and savagery. What has he done to earn this wrath ? Political instability and extreme corruption in Afghanistan is the main culprit behind all this with no end in sight. Sad indeed !

These refugees should respect the 40 years hospitality of Pakistan but they are busy against Pakistan in the form of #PashtunTahaffuzMovement etc. It is unfortunate

While the loss of little Bilal’s only green friend is unbearable, the world together can still help save many other children’s dreams from shattering by a much organised effort aimed at achieving realistic targets. Refugees need help in Pak as well as in Af.

I'm so ignorant. I don't understand why people don't just leave those shitty countries. Flee to the Asian countries or Africa or something. It must be better living on the streets in some other country than to try to exist in the middle east. But, I don't know stuff...

Well, that is a question even experts haven't been able to answer have they? Hundreds of articles and books are around but no one knows what will actually work. People continue to suffer.

Im not asking you to care or not. But considering the fact that US has had a big role to play in these parts of the world the least that is expected is for people to be aware of the geography! Or maybe not make needlessly insensitive remarks if you don't know. These r real lives.

I'm sure many want to leave and many have left. You think it's just that easy to leave? How many people are living as refugees around the world? Syrians, afghans, rohingyas, tibetans....
