In Opinion Op-Ed columnist @FrankBruni writes, "The fight isn’t really between two men. It’s between two takes on what matters most in this messy world. I might as well be blunt: It’s between the high road and the gutter."https://nyti.ms/2FNxTNy

The sad truth, imo, is he and his party built and own Trump. It has been their life’s work, and so, here we all are.

Trump is the best president we’ve had in decades, so that’s not really an insult.

Who would be so bitter as they leave this Earth? MCCain can’t even die with dignity.

Excellent piece-the one thing I am glad about is McCain's regret over choosing Sarah Palin in 2008-she paved the way for Trump in my opinion. Trump doesn't deserve the right to show up at McCain's funeral-he is everything McCain is against.

Wouldn't forgiveness and reconciliation rather than bitterness and conflict be the high road?

Leave it to the left wing media to seize on McCain's coming death as a way to frame a story against POTUS. I might as well be blunt, you are consistently in the gutter.

The core of this piece is about Moral integrity. If it’s a question of Moral integrity there is no question. Trump literally goes out of his way to prove he has none. McCain proved his long ago.

@SenJohnMcCain is the man Americans should most regret never served as President. His concession speech was not only graceful but moving and should have inspired many. Classy gentleman. Wishing him well.
