Appearing to link the wave of knife crimes in London to a ban on guns, Trump said: “They don’t have guns. They have knives, and instead there’s blood all over the floors of this hospital.”https://nyti.ms/2KHxpw2

UK homicide rate: .9 per 100,000. US homicide rate: 4.9 per 100,000. Figures from 2015. Thank goodness that 2nd Amendment is keeping Americans safe from bad guys.

Are you a bot? The U.S. has the highest homicide rate per capita of ALL western countries. 4.88 homocides in 100.000. The UK has 0.92! Get your facts straight.https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/murder-rates-by-country.html …

"instead there's blood all over the floors..." INSTEAD? What happens when someone is riddled with holes from an AR-15?? What did the scenes in Vegas or Parkland look like? Were the hospitals covered in silly string and smell minty fresh? Could I kill 57 all at once w/ KNIVES?

Well people who are clearly already dead don't get taken to the emergency room. That's the convenience of guns - blood in the street, not the hospital.

Quite true. For the Vegas shooting, though, 58 were killed and an astounding 821 injured (422 by gunfire) - not every shot is a "success" (sick, eh?)
