Swedish meatballs, the signature national dish, are really Turkish. “My whole life has been a lie."https://nyti.ms/2FEKjHl

Balls of meat in spherical shape has roots in ancient Babylonia, far preceding Ottomans. At least that's how I read the cuneiform tablets in the archaeology museum in Istanbul. Hammurabi was a huge fan -- ate them all the time, so much so that they were called "Hammurabi kebabi".

Turkey didn’t exist in the 1700’s. Those meatballs are firmly with the Ottoman Empire’s timeline, not the same thing.

CNN tweeted this earlier. What the he'll is wrong with you. Who cares. This isn't news. French fries aren't from France, you don't see me tweeting about it. Do something productive and update us about the quality of water in Flint, Michigan
