Why don’t they just put Kanye in shackles and let him pick cotton , so HE can decipher if it is a choice or force.

I'm sorry but the idea of entertaining anything that comes out of Kanye West's mouth as thoughtful is just completely ludicrous. I think we are at fault for broadcasting what people like him think and then we cry foul when he says something completely erroneous and dangerous.

According to @kanyewest slavery was a choice... a reminder just how many dangerously stupid people we have in this country and why education is so very important. More money towards education. Less money towards subsidizing corporations and the very wealthy.

Everyone is overreacting over Kanye West’s comment on slavery. He simply said, why didn’t they revolt. With so many strong black men during that time, why didn’t they get together and rise against their oppressors? Why? Because in fear they chose not to. His opinion!!! 1/3

b/c it was "shut nigger" until about 1968 & your "get over it" followed right after. never been honest convo about slavery. no one asks why the majority of confederate monument were built nearly 80 yrs AFTER the civil war (around the time of civil rights movement).
