Pruitt is likely upset at how this will impact businesses. He's already shifted EPA's mission statement from "protecting human health and the environment" to "protecting business from environmental impacts"

California should move to do the same; ban chemicals that are harmful to the sea life and ecosystem.

The sun does not give cancer. Google the chemicals inside the sunscreen and their effects on the largest organ on your body.

About time this has been attacked. Millions upon millions for years have slapped that poison on, went for a swim, got out & dried off, repeat since the invention of the goop. Chemical’s have to settle some where. Coppertone stock may go down. Big deal

Laugh at me,say I lie...but I swear I've wondered that for years after keeping corals in an aquarium and seeing how sensitive they are to even a hand in the tank too long or often. So,seeing people by the thousands pouring fatty oils on the beach..I wondered.

Just an FYI, The Shaklee Corporation makes chemical free/ Reef safe sun screen. This is really great news that finally someone is taking action to save our reefs.

You think that socialized medicine gave Alfie an incurable neurological disorder? Depressing fact: Alfie would have died here too. Nature killed that poor boy and nothing we could have done would have stopped it. Take him to Italy or keep him in the UK: Same outcome.
