        "Reversed his position..." This phrase would be appropriate when discussing an issue under consideration, say climate change. Seems inappropriate when applied to one's personal actions. You don't reverse a position on what you had for breakfast, for example.

        @realDonaldTrump didn’t reverse his position... he stopped lying about paying off a woman so she wouldn’t talk about their alleged affair right before the election. Which, BTW, makes me wonder WTF is going on that he’s given up the lie? Something bigger is coming.
