President Trump said it was “disgraceful” that questions the special counsel would like to ask him were publicly disclosedhttps://nyti.ms/2rd0CGi

Muellers team have not had a single leak throughout their investigation, shocking us several times along the way. Now that negotiations are ongoing with Trumps lawyers we start getting leaks that seem to benefit Trump? Hmmmnnn. 🤔

how exactly do they benefit him? They are questions. By all accounts, not marked confidential or higher. Most likely released by his own legal team. And most likely Mueller was/is fully aware that the legal team would have done so.

They benefit him because he is able to deride them publicly as more evidence of a witch hunt and paint Mueller as a leaker and incompetent. He knows Mueller can't /won't respond so can make any claim he wishes and shape public perception, at least with his base.

I would respectfully disagree. He has his supporters - they will believe what he says regardless. The questions were prev given to Dowd - who resigned - because the questions offer two options: Trump refuses/pleads the 5th. Or, he implicates himself. No lawyer can protect him.

I respect your opinion. This is a new experience for me on Twitter, usually we all just shout at each other until we are hoarse. 😁👍

Right! I wish more users would simply “discuss,” even debate - w/o the ugliness. I figure I can... lol

His own “disgraceful” team probably leaked them.

It is disgraceful that Trump has sunk the presidency to the level that the questions need to be asked.

I wonder who in Trump’s staff he asked to leak this stuff. Mueller doesn’t leak stuff. Trump is the weak link here.

Since the questions came from his lawyers (likely Giuliani!) - he'd better check his own fishbowl for leaks.

This is a questionnaire, not questions in the air. President may very well have to plead the Fifth Amendment!
