He calls her a racist. She calls him a national masochist. They are political enemies, and they are husband and wife.https://nyti.ms/2KsmNBc

Fascinating and they express many valid points from their respective views. But in the end the extreme left and the extreme right both creates inhabitable societies, the authoritarian and oppressing character defines them both.

This couple have an interesting opportunity to mirror each other and learn from it,as should we all from both history and the present. Still,we create the present and the future ourselves here and now.

The high rates of veteran suicide in USA is rather surprising, elite soldiers and veterans are normally inclined to lower rates of suicide than the rest of the population.

Some of the things are to make thorough evaluation on mental stability and having an organisation where there is an interest to catch people before they go over the edge and also have an open attitude allowing people to seek counselling instead of bottling up until it's to late

Why is this "very German" - to me this could be the latest Philip Roth novel, where an ageing professor falls in love with and marries a student and then later discovers that he can't keep up with his wifes thinking and intellectual output. Very East Coast acutally.
