        The law that allows him to be paid that much was passed to ensure that the public sector could compete for talent with the private sector. Do we not think the former CDC director could command a salary >$375K in the private sector? My guess: he'll resign.

        He was appointed by the HHS Secretary which is a Trump guy. His salary was cut only after a democrat inquired why he was being paid double the positions normal salary. Cmon man get a clue!
