Only way that will happen is if Amazon builds their own city

EZ solution. Seattle is unhappy with Amazon? Pack up and leave. Employees can’t afford to live there anyway.

Tech companies look for the place where PoC cant afford. Its deliberate! Underrepresented communicators and collaborators of color put off before even thinking interview. Economic privilege is holding the future back. Need them forced to setup in more accessible diverse suburbs.

Amazon is literally the least of our problems here in Seattle. We have an incompetent city council and too many single drivers on the road.

So you want higher wages but not the increased cost of living that goes with it?

Bogus story. Amazon is NOT a top 3 employer in Seattle. It cannot be driving housing costs, esp since most of its stock is concentrated in few people, not widely held.
-
Lol Amazon has more office space in Seattle than the next 40 companies combined .
-
Office space does not affect housing cost.
-
Yeah its the 30k+ high wage workers that fill it. Amazon is the largest employer in the city, and is without a doubt impacting housing costs
-
Amazon in NOT top 3 in Seattle. And Microsoft pays way higher than Amazon. And its campus has to be bigger, not counting warehouses. lol
-
Spoiler alert, Microsoft is in a city called Redmond.

Let me recalculate the data by excluding every enclave that is incorporated. Minus Bellevue, Minus Tacoma, Minus Ft Lewis, Minus Everett....

Easy way to avoid a lot of this: go to a city that really needs it, like

Law of supply and demand. More jobs means increased money supply and congestion. Wherever they go the same issues will exist.

@amazon hasn't fulfilled its entire contract with Seattle, so they should feel right at home as a "scapegoat". I'm still waiting on the Link rail improvements you promised us.

No decent community wants thousands of alt-left destroy-Trump Amazon millenials driving up taxes and gridlock.
