        Thought they were tent caterpillars as they hung from microscopic “strings” actually quite far from the nearest tree. I scooped it up. Days later, after having been befuddled by an itchy rash, we noticed them hanging out on our windows & googled them. Oops!

        You were luck it wasn’t worse. My cat inhaled hair and struggled to breathe. I had to have him put down.😢

        Oh god, I’m so sorry! That is horrible. My dogs seem to know to keep their distance. Maybe this horrendous spring will have a silver lining and dispense with many of them.

        They’re all the way from Spain throughout France. I hoped the Chantal would keep them out. But the govt here will get them. We love our dogs.
