They blame women for denying them their right to sexual intercourse. Here's a brief guide to the incel community:https://nyti.ms/2JCFC3l

Like many of the increasingly common mass-killing incidents of late it appears they all seem to share an inability with coping with “defeat,” be it professional or of the romantic nature. The phenomenon of over-sensitivity to a child’s “self-esteem” might be counterintuitive.

But it’s the opposite: if your self-esteem is intact, you don’t crumble when things don’t go the way you wanted. Self-esteem is not selfishness, self-centeredness or narcissism, it’s their healthy counterpart!

But that’s the whole point. True self-esteem is built over time and part of that comes from taking knocks & “losing” as a kid. When everyone gets a trophy nobody loses. We need to learn about failure in youth. We learn it sucks but we also learn it can be overcome with effort.

When I was a teen, we just cried and masturbated in our solitude. The '80s were a different time.

Ah, yes. Informative news organizations giving information about the news is now normalizing. The didn't say, "What are incels? And here's why they're A-OK!"

By giving them a normalized title and “community” is called normalizing them. Why not call them rapist pigs? Why try make them a community?

Well I have always thought of them as rapist pigs. Now they are a community of them with a name? Let’s make communities for pedophiles and serial killers too. Give them fancy names as well.

They made they’re own communities as well. I don’t know how familiar you are with the deep and dark web, but there are a cacophony of sites made for those people, by those people.

Giving them a platform so that they can point, in pride, to the NYT discovering them, is not a good idea. Let them rot in the darkness of their caves.

The Economist has articles on how cultures that allow polygamy (always one man multiple wives and not the other way) creates an Incel problem and violence. https://m.slashdot.org/story/335375

Polyandry is the term for when women take on multiple husbands. There are actually a few places around the world where polyandry is common - and funny enough, it's typically pretty peaceful society. The practice is often centered around pooling resources instead of peacocking.
