The Golden State Killer’s barrage of rapes and murders began in a gold mining area east of Sacramento in 1976. By 1986, it seemed to have stopped. Why?https://nyti.ms/2r7lNKo

These days I mostly pan for it in the concrete-lined LA River, which yields about the results you expect. Some days, I dig in Griffith Park. Have found zero gold so far but I’m no quitter!

As a former cop, he probably realized that newer technology would result in his apprehension. And, it did.

Sierra Nevada Foothills are Historic for the 1849 Gold Rush but I wouldn’t characterize it as “ a gold mining area.” That’s like calling Coney Island a rabbit hunting area

I read this piece and granted I am not a psychologist. But do you think Bundy would’ve eventually retired if he wasn’t caught? I don’t think so.

Since u r an umindful, hence mindless civilisation, messages of Jesus, remaining in books being sold to them who r beyond them, anyway, since u r not mindful let me tell ! That pain of crime, however much his tormentors, roar in competitive laughter, their soul carries Jesus more

Firmly itched ! Pain of crime of killing can ignite an intense pain in a soul which gets touched by a spark of grace, in form of a message on wall, a tweet, a sermon, a word, and that moment converts! May convert. Not lures and force!
