“He was extremely wily.” How a serial rapist and murderer in California flaunted his power as well as his belief that he could elude accountability forever. He was wrong.https://nyti.ms/2Fn6rG8

"Flaunted his power" and "believed he could elude accountability" so basically just like any other cop then?

He didn't account for new technology. How could he have? He did beat everyone in his time. In his time. But times change. Let the stand as a lesson to even the most diabolical criminals.

The least he can do is come clean and confess all his crimes so the families can have some closure.

He is a psychopath. Bringing relief and closure to his victims and their families is likely not a thought he’s contemplated.

Yes, he was wrong. He only eluded police for 40+ years. Not forever but far too close to it. If not for Michelle NcNamara's tireless work he very well have died a free man. Thank you, Michelle.

He terrorized the Sacramento area as East Area Rapist, he deserves to rot in hell and prison to what he has left in life. I slept with a knife under my pillow when he was terrorizing Sacramento. Don’t believe his feeble act in front of judge and court, he’s playing them.
