An EPA proposal to dramatically weaken car-emission standards could set up a legal clash with California. Here are the plan's main points.https://nyti.ms/2FovRTF

EPA standards are too restrictive and unnecessary. The EPA has become just another broken, bloated, bureaucracy.

Perhaps you should ask the people in Superior how they feel about deregulation after having an oil refinery explode yesterday..... Your SUV gets what? 20mpg What them cut that in half your cost of gas will double. Your pay won't go up. How do you think that hurts?pic.twitter.com/DFrWB3Y5JK

Cars made since 1990 or so are clean enough. There comes a point of diminishing returns were the costs of getting 1% cleaner are many times higher than achieving the first 98% clean. It’s time for some common sense.

First, environmental regulations do not kill jobs and secondly what good are jobs if everyone dies from cancer from pollution or can't breathe.

If the car makers drop the regulations does that make them climate change deniers? They will do anything for a buck, including poisoning their grandchildren! When it comes to climate change if you not part of the solution, you are the roblem! @Ford

Well if you were concerned about clean air, our environment, our world, you would have not voted for Trump. And for those who stayed away from the polls, you are as guilty as anyone who voted for Trump.

Should they not have to come-up with some good science that proves those regulations are not needed! You need science to put on regulation, why should you not need science to remove those regulations? We need to tell the Car CORPS you drop the regulations, we drop-you! @Ford
