        Yep. Paris, London, Rome, NYC, even Beijing, all are quite walkable, if you have comfortable sneakers, as I've done it. LA, not so much.

        I used to always take newcomers to Paris on walking tours (otherwise known as death marches). There is no better way to get a grasp of the layout of the city.

        I have been there. The French/Parisians were the most rudest, snobbiest not wanting to help lost people on the streets I have ever encountered. Thought #Quebec were full of rude people but I was proven wrong. They are rude to Quebec-Canadians & non-whites

        15 yrs ago friends and I walked all over Paris. Discovered an alley that led us to Balzac ' s home in Passy. Great adventure!
