Don Blankenship is running for the United States Senate as a proud West Virginian with Appalachian roots, but his primary residence is a $2.4 million villa with palm trees and an infinity pool near Las Vegashttps://nyti.ms/2I1KT4U

Surely the voters of West Virginia can't be so misguided as to vote for this guy. Wake up! He doesn't care about you, believe me.

Shouldn’t the headline be “Man responsible for 29 Deaths who wants to contribute to climate change runs for Senate after felony conviction “ be the headline? Your paper is clueless

Sadly, the poorest West Virginians are more concerned about putting food on their tables than they are about politics, so yes, unfortunately, they will continue to vote for the Rs without the knowledge that they are voting against their own best interests.

This is what the Republican Party now means: a wealthy man whose business practices harm citizens, who refuses to disclose finances, the list goes on. And someone implying that this guy is like Hillary Clinton ... I don’t know what to think anymore. Sad.

Hi guys, you may be interested to learn that he is also a convicted felon responsible for the deaths of 29 miners. I’m assuming you didn’t already know this, because otherwise your omission of this from the headline constitutes joirnalistic malpractice.
