A memorial in Alabama demands a reckoning with one of America's least recognized atrocities: the lynching of thousands of black people in a decades-long campaign of racist terrorhttps://nyti.ms/2FdV979

Very good. African Americans will be reminded that it was the Democrats and their storm troopers, the KKK who were responsible for the deaths of their people. The long lie is over.pic.twitter.com/wdYwTQ8EVf

Black soldiers were lynched after returning to the south from WW1 and WW2; America's history books are devoid of the terror inflicted on Blacks. The Holocaust is taught in elementary and high schools across the nation.

History about lynching was taught in the schools I went to, but I will say there wasn’t nearly the emphasis on how widespread it was (still is, sadly.)

White Supremacy exists in the job place. In Orange County NY pop 400k/ 34% black-Latino hiring in local got for minority other than crap jobs is negligible. County Exec Steve Neuhaus "white is right" policy is WRONG. Inclusion STOP Exclusion

We have the opposite here in Owensboro, Ky. The morose distinction of being the last town to hang a black man( on the coyrthouse square). And if you wonder if Owensboro is a racist community, look up at the monument ( on the same courthouse square) of a confederate soldier.
