As a white Christian female, I can't understand this one bit. What makes these men so insecure? What is missing relative to their concept of themselves? I just can't figure this one out. -
Ask white Christian women. They voted for him too. And I would think for many of the same reasons. I appreciate that you don’t feel that way but you can find plenty of sisters who feel the same as their husbands. Ask them to be honest and explain why.

It's not important why. This is a diverse country, has been a country of immigrants from the start. Being white has no importance. Being caring, considerate, embracing, supportive, kindhearted. thoughtful, the attributes Jesus expects from us is what is important. All else vain.

"[F]ear of losing social dominance." Why the need for such fancy words? The whole concept can be summed up as "racism & bigotry."

First of all, let's be clear, poor white males have no status which is why so many of them lash out with violence. White privilege is reserved for the rich and well connected. Everyone else is on their own with no governmental "protections'.
-
Poor white males could have access to education if they took advantage of it...they want to blame everyone else for their supposed inability to make a better living
-
Not really. Maybe public schools.
-
Affirmative action and the me too movement covers minorities and women, but there are no programs that target poor white males.
