        American police shoot first, before assessment and evaluation of the situation. The Canadian police seem to be better trained and had restraint and intelligence.

        If you see the video of the incident, you will notice that he numerously times tried to provoke the policeman into shooting him - saying he had a gun in his pocket, pretending to be quick-drawing it not once, but twice.
