President Trump, in a series of tweets, criticized this article that described his years of poor treatment of his longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. We stand by our reporting.https://nyti.ms/2HhIxSn

Dean Baquet, our executive editor, said our article "is filled with named quotes on the record." Everything @maggieNYT "has reported from inside the White House has proven true."https://nyti.ms/2qQBBAr

President Trump also said that “I don’t speak to” Maggie Haberman and “have nothing to do” with her. In fact, she has interviewed the president twice in the Oval Office and 3 times by telephone. Listen to audio excerpts of this July 2017 interview.https://nyti.ms/2uFm1uS

he cannot even read the ny daily news, a fifth grade reading level. and most positively cannot read nyt, a 12th gr reading level. given all his life in ny still cannot tell you the nyt is "all the news that is fit to print."

This one of the things I find most troubling about this man. Serial lying is one thing, and already bad enough. But when a person in his position habitually seems to go out of his way to lie about things that are so easily verifiable - that's just plain disturbing.

To be fair, it’s technically true that Trump doesn’t speak with “Maggie Habberman,” who works at a CVS in Tulsa, and goes by “Mag” in between smoke breaks. Not to be confused with “Maggie Haberman,” who works at the NY Times, and goes by “Pulitzer Prize winning journalist.”
