President Trump, in a series of tweets, criticized this article that described his years of poor treatment of his longtime personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. We stand by our reporting.https://nyti.ms/2HhIxSn

Dean Baquet, our executive editor, said our article "is filled with named quotes on the record." Everything @maggieNYT "has reported from inside the White House has proven true."https://nyti.ms/2qQBBAr

President Trump also said that “I don’t speak to” Maggie Haberman and “have nothing to do” with her. In fact, she has interviewed the president twice in the Oval Office and 3 times by telephone. Listen to audio excerpts of this July 2017 interview.https://nyti.ms/2uFm1uS

To this day I can't believe Americans put Trump in power. Here I thought America was a great country with smart and forward-thinking citizens.

The majority of us voted against him, and a majority of us oppose what he's doing. He speaks for himself and his "base," not all of us.

Actually the majority didn't vote at all and that is why he won. He got less than 25% of the eligible votes.

#Trump is a narcissist because he wasn’t given the love, validation and acknowledgement he needed while growing up. He has what’s called a “narcissistic wound,” or an empty place within that constantly craves what he never received from his Dad.

Narcissistic people often create smear campaigns, which is almost a daily occurrence in this presidency

@maggieNYT is a brilliant and dedicated journalist. It's a awful to see this Pulitzer Prize winner be publicly shamed by someone as classless as @realDonaldTrump. The reporting of facts matters, and it's what will eventually lead to his demise.

Given how poorly #Trump treats people in PUBLIC, his language, his name-calling, his berating: there's no question he treats people even worse in private. So, I'll believe your reporting well before I'll trust anything he says. Because ... facts. #Bullying #MichaelCohen
