They voted our Churchill in large part to create the NHS which has become one of the best healthcare systems in the world
-
Then why do people have to wait so long for even appointments with specialists much less actual care and treatment?
-
There isn’t a perfect healthcare system but the NHS is unequivocally better than the current US system. Better outcomes at less than half the cost per capita .
-
And apparently since Churchill said something it must be scripture. Give me a break. the happiest and wealthiest nations on earth per capita are nearly all liberal market democracies with strong social programs.pic.twitter.com/K0lKSDt0tx

Socialism is not a “fix.” Ask Venezuelans.

You don’t like Social Security?

Socialism is taking from those who have & giving to those cannot have; SS is taking from those who can & do work & giving to those who can't. SS is pure socialism. Being able to drive on the highway is an example of socialism.
-
What?? Everyone gets SS because if you work, you pay into it. It’s not “taking from the haves and given to the have nots”...
-
You prefer to take away SS, Medicare, Medicaid and let the poor die from sickness or work themselves to death huh?
-
What?? Not what I said or even implied!
-
Everyone gets social security because everyone deserves to have a retirement and not work until they die. It doesn’t matter who the dollars actually came from.
