Good and now we need to work on it so all women can do that with their newborns at the workplace.

I was going to make some smart ass comment about this but being from the UK and unfamiliar with @SenDuckworth, I decided to read about her first. She seems like one hell of a woman and the sort of person you guys in the US need to be running things in the future.

It's a workplace. Millions of American parents don't bring their infants to work; it interferes with productivity. Politicians again displaying the mentality that they should be exceptions to the rule.

I tend to agree with Jordan. It’s a place of business. When at work you should focus on work. When I work remote and kids are home (snow day) it’s impossible to get s full days work in.

Ridiculous! Couldn't leave the baby with dad or grandma for a couple of hours like the rest of the real world? Typical #liberal gushing over touchy-feely TV moments. #elitists

No baby belongs on the floor of the Senate during a vote or at any other time the serious business of the country is being discussed and decided. The audacity of this female is not to be believed & every man in that body is now afraid to say what they really think. Sad!

This is why nothing gets done in the Senate...they don't think it's a real job. Should all companies be forced to allow mothers to bring their crying babies to work. Nothing against babies but are all of you insane? It's a job...not a social function!
