How narratives of fear and mystery surround social systems hated by the establishment. Oddly,I never met such skullduggery on many visits to provincial Russia: just kind, considerate, respectful, literate, thoughtful people tinged with sadness at their country's pain over the years!

Canadian diplomats were also harmed and a similar event took place in Eastern Europe. If my brain was concussed in this matter (per MRIs) and I had hearing loss, I wouldn’t want to go back, either. Dismissing this as hysteria doesn’t help anyone.

Such a bunch of BS? Rum is very cheap and apparently good in Cuba, and Americans are mostly alcoholics. That explains it.

Why didn’t you mention that Canada pulled its families of diplomats from Cuba, actually I know why,you want to advocate for closer ties with the regime ,just be honest don’t pretend to tell both sides

Also, the Cuban gov't may have been developing sonic weapons to use against the U.S. and they used our diplomats as guinea pigs.

The Cuban gov't wanted the American diplomats out of their country & they got their wish. They don't trust anyone because they're not trustworthy. Raul is as corrupt as his brother Fidel was & Canel will just be his puppet front man. They'll still oppress & control the people!

I have the same reaction when Trump speaks, except with more vomitting and expletives (I'm assuming).
