Why have the media not looked into the background of the manager who made the call? Is this person a Trump supporter? Had this person done anything else that was racist?

According to one black employee, this manager had a history of kicking out black customers and/or calling the cops. Also demoting black employees & decreasing pay without cause. These 2 men weren’t the first.

So then why was this manager still a manager? Why did Starbucks hire this person in the first place? It sounds like this manager should have been shown the door along time ago. @Starbucks ???

They refused to leave when asked. They said no when asked! If there is a loitering problem they should be able to ask and respectfully people should buy something or go on their way.

They were waiting for a friend. There less than 2 minutes when they were asked Have you ever entered a cafe & spent at least two minutes trying to decide what you wanted? I know that not only have I done that, I've also waited for someone else to arrive before ordering.

I get that but they said they wanted nothing to order and then they refused to leave. What are you supposed to do in a situation when people refuse to leave that is my point

If they had been "white" they would not have been asked to leave so it would have been a non issue. I can't imagine being in a cafe for a minute or two and then be asked to leave because I was waiting for a friend. Would never happen to me and it never has.

That would be disgusting if this is based on color. I dont know the person who served these gentleman. So I cant say anything to that. However, of I am asked to leave an establishment then I would do so.

Why if your doing nothing wrong there is no law or even.written statements to back that up

"loiter: to linger or hang around in a public place or business where one has no particular or legal purpose. In many states, cities and towns there are statutes or ordinances against loitering ..." Waiting for a friend seems like a particular purpose but I'm not a lawyer.

I agree with this. However, I know there are establishments that if you don't purchase anything you cant just hang out granted this is not what these gentlemen were doing and if you didnt tell me that this person has a history of being racist i would've said this is maybe why.

If you research sir you can find the report that the store cameras log the men entering the store at 0:35 minutes of the hour and that the police call was recorded at 0:37 minutes of that same hour of the day. 2 minutes 💁🏽

Niah, don't waste your time on racist replies. Anyone who is not Black & commenting on these men have no idea what the hell they are talking about, therefore let them wallow in their ignorance & fear. The CEO, President, Exec. board of SB, Police chief all have apologized.
