Remember that whole metaphor of "pilot landing a plane" and how we all had to hope the pilot succeeded "running the country" and support Trump right after the election? What if we actually had a competent female pilot running things?

Tammie Jo Shults is rightly being heralded. Emphasis is put on the fact that she's an amazing woman. May we also mention she's no child. We're hearing a lot from an upcoming generation that everyone should move the fk over. Emergencies call for experience.

In all fairness though, the @GOP has majorities in both the House and the Senate, and loads of experience. And yet King Ding Dong is still tweeting from the Oval Office.

In all fairness, the tweet is about an outstanding pilot who landed a plane in an emergency. I'm a Democrat myself, but tired of hearing every conversation hijacked by people who want to make it about the WH.

Probably just could have omitted that last sentence. No need to hate on feminine things when appreciating this story. Belle was pretty calm through that whole Beast stealing her father, Barbie has been a pilot for years and Tina Fey who created Mean Girls is a great role model.

I don’t think there was any hate there at all. Just saying that girls can be more than mean, Barbie or a princess who’s waiting for Prince Charming to whisk her away.

Most women I know handle emergencies every day with calm, focus and confidence. I’m very happy she was able to land the plane, but that’s her job. She might even like Cinderella and still be good at her job! Amazing!
